Photo sessions & process

The Process

Get in touch & book your session
Start by getting in touch with me via the contact form on my website or by emailing me at hello@embarkphoto.ca. I’ll be glad to answer any initial questions you may have.
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll decide on a date and timeframe for the photo session.
I’ll send you a contract to review, sign, and send back. A $50 deposit, payable by e-transfer, will be due at the time of booking.

Planning your session
Once booked, I’ll send you a short pre-shoot questionnaire to fill out. This will help in planning a personalized photo session tailored to you & your pet.
Next, we’ll narrow down the specific location and time for the photo session.
I’ll also share a “location guide” to help you choose the perfect spot and a “get ready guide” to prepare you for the session and remind you what to bring.

Photo session & gallery delivery
We’ll meet at the location and ease into the photo session. The goal is to have fun and celebrate you & your pet. There’s no pressure to pose perfectly! I’ll provide guidance and support throughout the session.
After the session, I’ll send a sneak peek photo. At that point, the remainder of the session fee will be due. Once payment is received, I’ll finalize the rest of your photo gallery and send to you to download. You’ll be able to download both web and print resolution photos.
